How it works

Creating your custom illustration is a simple, collaborative process from start to finish. I’ll guide you through each step to make sure your artwork feels personal, meaningful, and exactly right.

1. Contact me

Start by sharing your idea, along with any reference photos and details you’d like included.

This could be a pet, a piece of wildlife, or something for your business.

I’ll confirm my availability and provide a quote based on your requirements.

2. Progress and updates

I begin by creating an initial sketch to plan the composition and capture the personality of your subject. At this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to request any changes before I move on to the final illustration

Your artwork is then carefully developed using a blend of traditional and digital techniques.

I’ll share updates along the way so you can see the piece come to life and suggest any small refinements.

3. Final Artwork

Once complete, your artwork is prepared and delivered in your chosen format.

From there, it’s yours to enjoy; whether displayed in your home, given as a thoughtful gift, or kept as a meaningful reminder. Each piece is designed to feel personal and lasting, something that holds its value long after it’s finished.

For commercial projects, usage rights can be discussed and agreed upon where needed.

A few things to know

Most commissions take between 2 and 8 weeks, depending on the level of detail and current availability. Prices are based on your specific requirements, including size, detail, and number of subjects. Throughout the process, you’ll have the opportunity to request refinements, ensuring the final piece feels exactly right.
